Welcome to The Best in Practice Safety Forum, dedicated to the Food and Drink Manufacturing and Distribution Sector.
Our objectives
Drive forward Health and Safety standards specifically for the food and drink manufacturing and distribution sector, by the creation of working groups that tackle emerging challenges and create sustainable solutions.
Collaborate with regulatory and influential bodies; provide representation to the aforementioned organisations; and to educate and influence these organisations in the challenges the sector faces.
Provide a platform whereby manufacturers can share information in an entirely confidential environment under Chatham House rules.
Work collaboratively to develop sector specific common standards.
Provide events, networking and seminar opportunities driven by the needs of the Forum members

Industry Safety Data Benchmarking
The annual Safety Data Benchmarking Exercise is in progress. We actively encourage our members to submit their data before the deadline. The results will be presented at our next Annual General Meeting in June 2026
